How to find your ring size

Use a short length of string or cut a piece of paper about 1/4" wide and 5" long. Measure the widest part of the finger which will be wearing the ring (often this is the knuckle, not the base of the finger) and mark off the length. It's best to do this in warm temperatures, since cold temperatures shrink the fingers slightly.

Measure the string or strip of paper with a ruler. That is the inside circumference of the ring. Using the ring sizing chart, find your ring size.

If the ring is intended as a gift, find a ring belonging to that person and slide it on a tapered candle. When the ring can't slide any further, mark the spot and measure it the same way you would your own finger.
